Shannon has worked as an Independent Wealth Advisor since 2009. His choice to enter the field was inspired by a desire to help people prepare for the future by helping take complex concepts and simplifying them for his clients. He guides his clients in creating plans that prepare them for both the expected and the unexpected. Whether its implementing risk management to address market volatility or evaluating insurance solutions, Shannon seeks to help clients develop strategies that help them feel more confident about their financial future. Prior to moving into the wealth advising arena, Shannon spent two decades in retail asset protection and three years as a reserve police officer and detective.
A magna cum laude graduate of Northwood University, Shannon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in 2015. He is passionate about his work and seeks to be a continual learner. Shannon holds a wide variety of professional memberships, including the Financial Planning Association (FPA), the Grand Rapids Roundtable, AMBUCS of Grand Rapids, and has memberships with several other non-profit organizations. Originally from Louisiana, Shannon and his wife moved to West Michigan in 2006 and have enjoyed this area so much they have made it their permanent home. Outside of the office he enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his family.
