
Mark Veenstra is a Certified Public Accountant and a Managing Member of DeBoer, Bauman & Company, PLC. He joined the West Michigan CPA firm in 1986 and became a partner in 1997. He manages firm operations as well as the firm’s strategic vision. In 1999, he obtained his securities registrations and became a partner in DB&C Advisors, LLC (formerly DBC Investment Services, LLC).
Mark brings nearly three decades of experience consulting with clients of DeBoer, Bauman & Company, PLC in the areas of tax planning, retirement planning, estate and trust taxation. His clients include many private foundations and non-profit organizations
Mark is an Investment Advisor Representative with DB&C Advisors, LLC and became a partner in DB&C Advisors, LLC (formerly DBC Investment Services).
Mark is a graduate of Grand Valley State University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Business. He is an active member of multiple professional associations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). He serves on the MACPA accounting and auditing task force as well as the association’s Mid/Large firm forum group.
He is a member of the Reformed Church and a Board member of two non-profit organizations—Pathways, MI, a West Michigan non-profit that focuses on families and children, and the fundraising chapter of the Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation.
Mark lives in Port Sheldon Township, MI where he enjoys wood working and a broad range of outdoor activities, including hunting, camping and hiking.
